What the Job Involves
As a Finance Payments and Admin Officer in the Corporate Finance - Finance Business Partnering Team, you will focus on supporting activities related to either Schools and Education payments or agency staff payments. You will manage monthly financial processes like schools' advances and VAT return collations, handle financial queries, liaise with schools or third-party organizations, and provide high-quality finance support services. While following standard procedures, you will be responsible for ensuring any issues are resolved promptly, supporting continuous improvement and automation efforts, and keeping up to date with service developments and council practices.
