Who You Are

You are someone interested in advancing your career in building control within a supportive and high-performing team. You have an understanding of the building control process and building regulations. You hold a minimum qualification of membership with either RICS or CABE, and you aim to achieve Band B- General Registration with the Building Safety Regulator.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you will gain further experience in the Council’s building control operations. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that developments comply with necessary building regulations. Your duties will include carrying out plan assessments as part of one of the two teams in building control. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and supporting the continuous improvement and performance of the Service.
