Job Description: Data Tracking Officer

Who You Are

You are a proactive and diligent middle manager with a strong understanding of data management in the context of Special Educational Needs (SEN). You possess the ability to lead within the Council, ensuring that corporate and departmental practices are implemented effectively. You are a coach and mentor, guiding your team towards optimizing the use of case management systems. You are skilled in building trust and fostering collaboration with partner organizations and internal stakeholders, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.

What the Job Involves

The role of Data Tracking Officer involves overseeing the quality and storage of data captured by the SEN Service. You will use performance and reporting systems to extract, analyze, and report on key performance indicators. A critical part of your role is to create and manage a live SEND Local Area dashboard, benchmarked against regional and national data. You are responsible for preparing and presenting data requests to various boards and ensuring the accuracy of statutory submissions. You will manage the Case Management System maintenance and support data cleaning activities. You will contribute to the Local Area Improvement Plan and work collaboratively with SEN finance to identify cost savings.
