You're ready to travel extensively across the country, performing assessments, making placements, and ensuring quality assurance, while maintaining a flexible approach to work.
What the Job Involves
Your primary responsibility is to commission placements and support services, ensuring they align with the specific needs of Looked After Children. You'll lead assessments on IFA, Residential, and Semi-Independent resources, conduct quality assurance visits, and analyze assessment data to inform strategic planning. Collaboration with various stakeholders and partners is essential, as is safeguarding children in external placements. You'll be expected to develop market relationships, ensure value for money, and contribute to the shaping and implementation of service strategies within the framework of council policies and best practices.
