We are seeking an arboricultural professional to join our dynamic tree service team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working in urban environments, particularly in tree inspections, surveys, diagnosis of tree defects/diseases, and recommending remedial measures. You are eager to learn and grow, bringing a positive attitude, personal drive, and initiative. This role requires excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Council officers, Councillors, Developers, Community groups, and the Public.
This position includes managing and inspecting the Council's tree stock, performing risk assessments, and providing specialist arboricultural advice. You will issue work to Contractors and the In-house tree service. The role extends beyond technical responsibilities to include financial management, general administration, member inquiries, and contract management. An Assistant role is also available, focusing on supporting the Arborist with less accountability and responsibility.
- Strong experience in urban tree inspections and surveys
