What the Job Involves

As the SEN Duty Coordinator, you will be integral to enabling the Local Authority to meet its statutory duties concerning the assessment of pupils with special educational needs. Your role involves the implementation of statutory procedures, ensuring suitable placements for pupils with EHCPs, and providing services during peak periods or staff absences. A key aspect of your role will be to support with budget allocation, induct new team members, manage educational transitions, engage with stakeholders, and maintain effective relationships with diverse educational settings.
