As an Early Intervention and Prevention Practitioner, you are a dedicated and compassionate professional committed to supporting children within the youth justice system. What the Job Involves
Your role involves managing a mixed caseload of Out of Court Disposals, including Triage, Youth Cautions, and Youth Condition Cautions, along with children eligible for Diversion work. You will conduct effective assessments, planning, and personalized intervention support in line with the YJB National Standards and local policies. A key aspect is supporting prevention efforts to reduce first-time entrants into the system. Moreover, you will ensure that the children are dealt with in a trauma-informed, restorative manner, safeguarding the interests of victims and the general public. This role requires close collaboration with various professionals and stakeholders.

- Excellent communication skills, conveying advice clearly in spoken English
