What the Job Involves
As a Deputy Team Manager for Enfield’s Joint Service for Disabled Children, you will assist the team manager with managing statutory specialist social work services for disabled children and their families. Your role includes managing the specialist social work duty service, ensuring timely casework allocation and statutory assessments, and maintaining best practices within the team. You provide specialist advice and consultation, contribute to strategy development, and ensure that services meet the diverse needs of families. You may need to chair meetings, manage budgets, and provide line management when deputizing for the team manager.
