You are an experienced professional with a minimum of 2 years of direct work with children, young people, and their families, ideally in a home or community setting. You have a proven track record of working effectively in cooperation and partnership with a diverse range of communities, partner agencies, and statutory bodies. Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to work assertively in multidisciplinary settings to achieve sustainable positive change. You are adaptable, open, honest, respectful, and committed to actively listening and learning to better serve families.
What the Job Involves
As a Senior Parent Support Advisor, you will provide holistic family assessments and offer coordinated support packages through a single or multi-agency approach. You will empower families to address challenging behaviors, reduce negative relationships, and secure positive improvements with a focus on increasing educational attendance and reducing exclusions. Key responsibilities include working closely with families, delivering evidence-based parenting programs, managing complex caseloads, reviewing action plans, attending case conferences, and maintaining accurate case documentation. You will also play a key role in partnership with schools and social workers to embed early help processes and effectively manage caseloads.

- Experience with direct work with children and families

- Proficient in IT systems and electronic case management
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation
- Ability to work collaboratively in multi-agency settings
- Experience with accredited parenting programs (desirable)
