You are an IT professional with a BSc in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience. You have a strong customer service ethos and schools-based IT support experience is desirable. You are proficient in understanding IT/IS infrastructure, operating systems, configurations, and service processes. Your knowledge also includes the use of incident management tools, understanding SLAs, and being aware of risk management and industry standards. You embody the Camden Way of delivering for the people, working as a team, taking pride, finding better solutions, and taking personal responsibility.
What the Job Involves
As a Schools Technician (SDE Post) Level 3, Zone 1, you will support IT infrastructure in Camden Schools. Your role involves attending school and council sites for customer requests, providing second-line technical support, and striving to meet SLA performance targets. You will assist in networks, servers, information security controls, and web solutions. The position requires you to manage customer relationships, maintain change control documentation, and take ownership of service incidents. You will occasionally provide first-line support and contribute to performance reports and support documentation. Your work aligns with Camden's Agile and paperless work environment.
