Internal Auditor (SO2)
Enfield Council
Role
Internal Auditor
Who You Are
You are an experienced internal auditor with a solid foundation in risk-based audit techniques and a strong understanding of standards applicable to local government. You excel in planning, leading, and delivering audits across diverse Council services, producing insightful reports that highlight both good practices and areas for improvement. As a natural relationship builder, you engage effectively with colleagues and provide clear advice on risks and controls. Your strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence with technology are essential. Whether you've progressed through an apprenticeship, IAPrac, or similar role, you know how to deliver effective audits from start to finish. You are adaptable, can work in hybrid environments, and your local authority experience, while desirable, is not essential.
