What the Job Involves
As an Outreach Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe services centered around wellbeing and independence. You'll take an active role within the management team, contributing to service development and smooth operations in compliance with policies and legislation. You will also deputize in the absence of the manager, manage staff performance, and encourage innovation and flexibility in response to needs. Additionally, you will ensure services are delivered as specified in individual assessments and support plans.
Skills
- Vocational experience of NVQ Level 4 or above
- Knowledge of delivering outcome-focused services
- Staff supervision and performance management
- Flexibility and workload management
- Knowledge of Adult Social Care legislation
- Excellent IT and report writing skills
- Willingness to cover out-of-hours on-call on a rota basis
- Experience with council electronic systems
