As a Senior Support Officer/Centre of Excellence Coordinator, you are an experienced professional skilled in providing high-quality and comprehensive business support across the Council. You actively contribute to practice improvement and workforce development within children's services, ensuring information accuracy and supporting service development and improvement initiatives. You are a leader capable of coaching and developing colleagues, enhancing standards and productivity while championing continuous improvement and efficient practices.
What the Job Involves
The role requires leading the business support functions and processes within the Centre of Excellence. You will support various initiatives and projects, maintenance, and review of practice improvement information. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating events and initiatives that promote practice and service development. The job involves producing and analyzing reports, conducting research, delivering high-standard support services activities (such as meeting and event support, data entry and analysis, and project administration), managing specific business support processes, and responding effectively to inquiries. You will also organize workloads, support ICT/automation implementation for efficiency, and maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and council services.
