Who You Are
You are a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for early childhood education and care, capable of working within a multi-disciplinary team. You are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children from birth to 7 years. Your focus on anti-discriminatory practice and child protection procedures ensures that every child receives the highest standard of care and education. You possess the physical stamina and flexibility required to work varied shift patterns between 8am and 6pm.
What the job involves
This role involves providing integrated day care and early education in alignment with Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. You will contribute to curriculum planning and delivery, ensuring activities meet individual children's needs and interests. Responsibilities include recording and assessing children's development, managing behavior, and implementing interventions for additional needs. You will physically care for children, assist with toileting and personal hygiene, and support transitions from home to center and onto school. You will coordinate outings, provide first aid, and handle emergency medical situations when required.
