Who You Are

You are a motivated and driven professional with experience in the rehabilitation of void properties within the Social Housing sector.

What the job involves

You will work with a team of surveyors and letting officers to assist in achieving the corporate void turnaround times. Key responsibilities include:

• Carry out void surveys
• Visiting void properties to pre and post inspect
• Specification write up’s using schedule of rates
• Ensuring empty homes are let to a high standard in minimum turnaround time
• Manage the works process for voids, working closely and effectively with contractors and other stakeholders
• Monitor contractor performance both in terms of quality and value for money
• Use relevant IT systems to ensure accurate reporting and data for performance management

Skills

• Experience in social housing sector
• Knowledge of void property rehabilitation
• Excellent survey and inspection abilities
• Proficiency with IT systems for reporting
• Strong management of contractors
• Good communication and teamwork
