Who You Are

You are a dedicated social worker committed to working with children, young people, and their families/carers. You possess the ability to independently manage and organize your workload with the guidance and support of a Team Manager. Adhering to professional codes and striving for continual professional development are ingrained in your professional practice. You have an aptitude for mentoring less experienced colleagues and are always willing to further your professional development through formal qualifications.

What the job involves

This role entails planning and leading assessments to evaluate strengths, resilience, vulnerabilities, developmental needs, and risks of children and families. As a social worker, you will work collaboratively with families and multi-agency colleagues to coordinate and review outcome-focused plans that aim to meet needs and reduce risks. Key responsibilities also include maintaining clear, accurate records, participating in team activities, and contributing to service and practice development. You will actively engage in training opportunities and be an advocate for equal opportunities and quality services in a compliant, safe, and customer sensitive manner.
