What the Job Involves
In this role, you will provide a comprehensive generalist HR service, acting as a trusted advisor to schools and trusts. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance processes.
- Conducting workplace investigations, supporting TUPE processes, and change management.
- Developing and delivering HR training sessions.
- Drafting and reviewing policies, and contributing to ad-hoc HR projects.
- Building trusted relationships with school leaders to understand their specific needs and provide tailored HR solutions.
- Balancing home working with on-site work when needed, and ensuring effective remote work capabilities.
Skills
- Extensive experience in employee relations and case management.
- Strong understanding of HR practice and UK employment law.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
