What the Job Involves

You will assess and support families under Child in Need and Child Protection plans, closely collaborating with multi-agency teams. This involves developing and implementing child protection plans, undertaking statutory visits, managing cases, and maintaining accurate records. You will actively intervene in crisis situations, attend protection conferences, and participate in court proceedings as necessary. Effective communication with families and various agencies is crucial as you work to promote positive outcomes and ensure children's safety.
