• Act as the Council’s technical lead on traffic engineering, road safety, and traffic order compliance.
• Provide expert input into complex and high-profile infrastructure projects.
• Oversee delivery of road safety audits, adhering to best practices and national guidelines.
• Ensure road safety is integrated throughout project lifecycles, in line with Vision Zero and Healthy Streets principles.
• Manage and develop a small team, fostering professional growth and innovation.
• Contribute to shaping policy and procedures for creating safer, more liveable neighborhoods.
