We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Temporary Accommodation Income Team in Enfield. You should be able to deliver proactive, effective, and compassionate income management support to our residents. Strong relationship-building, clear communication, and the ability to engage effectively with residents, including those who may be vulnerable or facing challenging circumstances, are essential.
What the Job Involves
As part of the rent collection service, your key responsibilities will include working collaboratively within the Temporary Accommodation Income service, contacting tenants in rent arrears with empathy, and ensuring income is maximized with sustainable payment arrangements. You will proactively support customers by identifying financial support needs, including referrals for benefits, debt advice, or other assistance. Additionally, you will work across teams and with partner agencies to ensure joined-up support for residents. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all work aligns with relevant policies and statutory requirements is also crucial. Providing a customer-focused service at all times, you will promote positive outcomes and help residents sustain their accommodation. The position is based at Edmonton Green Library.
