What the Job Involves
As the Senior Court Practice Lead, you will provide leadership and support in a specific area of practice within the Youth Justice Service. You will manage a small number of cases or collaborate with your team on cases when necessary. You will champion best practices across the service and collaborate with the Quality Assurance/Practice Lead for service improvements. Your role includes offering proactive support to Magistrates and Crown Courts on behalf of the Youth Justice Service, and liaising with court officials, young people, their families, and Children’s Services. You will ensure that young people and their families are informed and supported throughout the court process, advocating for proportionate sentencing outcomes.

- Experience in case management in legal or youth services context
