Who You Are

You are a dedicated professional committed to youth justice, passionate about working with young people, and keen to ensure they are treated fairly. You are adept at building on the strengths of young individuals to help them make positive contributions to society. You value creating safer communities and reducing the rate of offending.

What the job involves

This role requires you to provide practice leadership and support within a specific area. You will manage a small number of cases or co-work with direct reports when necessary. You will champion best practice across the service, working closely with dedicated quality assurance and practice leads to drive service improvements. Your responsibilities include delivering a proactive service to Magistrates and Crown Courts and ensuring effective liaison with various Court Services stakeholders, such as Magistrates, Clerks, and legal representatives. You will support young people and their families in understanding court processes and work with key stakeholders to secure appropriate sentencing outcomes.
