What the Job Involves
The role involves the comprehensive processing of income received through fees and charges, as well as raising invoices for services provided to external Clients and internal Departments. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Council processes, the LBE Constitution, and Financial Regulations. Your duties will include the end-to-end processing of Building Control applications, handling contraventions and dangerous structures, and issuing statutory documents such as Completion Certificates. You will ensure document retention practices comply with GDPR and the Council Retention Policy, manage competent persons data for Local Land Charges service users, and respond to customers and applicants using Building Control services.
