Who You Are

You are an HGV Technician with a passion for maintaining and servicing vehicles. With expertise in handling both hydraulics and electrical equipment on specialized vehicle bodies, you bring technical acumen and a structured approach to your work. Located at Trostre Depot, you will work from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 8am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

What the job involves

The position involves carrying out servicing, inspections, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on Council fleet vehicles. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicle fleet, with particular focus on the specialized equipment that some fleet vehicles may carry.

Skills

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in light or heavy motor vehicle engineering
• Driving Licence – Minimum Category B
• Experience in vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Hydraulics and electrical equipment knowledge
• Diagnostic and repair expertise
