You have a strong understanding of dietary guidelines and can adapt to the needs of those with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex physical health needs. What the job involves

This role involves planning, preparing, and serving meals that meet diverse dietary needs. You will be responsible for ensuring meals are produced on time, meet portion standards, and are attractively presented. Your responsibilities will include preparing customized meals for individuals with special diets, ordering food and supplies, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards, and overseeing the work of the Catering Assistant. You will coordinate with staff to ensure meals align with individual support plans, manage inventory within a budget, and document relevant records. Promoting a collaborative working environment and interacting with service users respectfully are key components of the role.
