What the job involves
As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
- Carry out high-quality assessments that inform meaningful plans for children and families.
- Hold a mixed caseload including Child Protection (CP), Children Looked After (CLA), and some court work.
- Work confidently in challenging and sometimes complex situations, ensuring children’s safety remains at the centre of every decision.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, partners, and colleagues to drive positive, sustained change.
- Contribute to a supportive team culture where learning, collaboration, and reflective practice are encouraged.
