Who You Are
An experienced Senior Practitioner dedicated to improving the lives of children and families, especially those with disabilities. You hold a full qualification (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent) and have over 3 years of experience in statutory social care. You are skilled in assessment, report writing, and managing complex caseloads, and are enthusiastic about joining Herefordshire on its journey of improvement.
What the job involves
Join our Restorative Journey of Improvement within the Children with Disabilities team. Provide support and supervise Social Workers and other staff, working collaboratively with partner agencies. In this role, you'll engage in a variety of tasks, including short break assessments, child protection, and court work to ensure consistency and a relationship-based model of practice.
