You are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with significant experience in adult safeguarding or similar statutory adult services. You possess excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills and have confidence in managing risk and making evidence-based decisions. You work flexibly, proactively, and thrive as part of a supportive team.
What the job involves
This role involves leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014 and triaging new concerns as part of the Duty Rota. You will manage a diverse and complex caseload with autonomy and professional judgement. Responsibilities include undertaking strengths-based assessments, developing outcome-focused support plans, completing Mental Capacity Assessments, and conducting Making Safeguarding Personal Conversations to shape risk planning and outcomes. Collaboration with health partners, police, care providers, and voluntary organizations is essential. You will apply legislation, policy, and best practice to protect adults from harm or abuse and provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.
