What the Job Involves
This position involves providing technical oversight and quality assurance for the Council's domestic gas servicing, repair, and heating replacement programs. You will audit and inspect gas repair and installation work, contribute to feasibility studies, and act as a Contract Administrator for small project works. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to ensure all systems are maintaining compliance with maintenance, testing, and inspection standards. You will also work closely with the Compliance team to review and update O&M information, ensuring adherence to PPM requirements. Although travel mileage will be covered for inspections around the borough, it does not include commuting costs.
