Business Support Officer
Who You Are
- You have at least 5 GCSEs (A-C) or NVQ Level 2, or relevant experience.
- You have a minimum of two years of experience in customer and partner interactions.
- You can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- You have a sympathetic attitude towards the bereaved.
- You are familiar with Windows-based software and possess strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ideally, you are working towards an ICCM Crematorium Certificate.
- You are willing to undertake first aid training.
What the Job Involves
- Providing clerical and administrative support to the team leader.
- Assisting customers with inquiries about funerals and memorials.
- Communicating with customers and partners of the crematorium in person, by telephone, and in writing.
- Managing administrative tasks related to cremations and issuing receipts for services.
- Building and maintaining relationships with partners such as funeral directors and suppliers.
- Undertaking additional duties for the effective operation of the crematorium.
