Who You Are
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker who is registered with Social Work England and has experience in statutory social work. Experience in fostering is an advantage, and strong communication skills are essential. You should also possess confidence in using IT systems, the ability to work under pressure, and the resilience to manage competing demands while remaining focused on improving the lives of children.
What the job involves
As a Supervising and Assessing Social Worker, you will support and supervise mainstream foster carers, ensuring they have the guidance, training, and advice needed to provide high-quality care. You will lead foster carers' annual reviews and work closely with children's social workers and a wide range of professionals to contribute to effective care planning and secure the best outcomes for children. You will join a supportive team with manageable caseloads, ongoing development opportunities, and a commitment to excellent practice.
