With a strong ability to work collaboratively within multi-agency environments, you are proactive in coordinating support services that cater to the holistic needs of families.

What the Job Involves

As a Family Help Practitioner, you will conduct holistic assessments of families and deliver coordinated support packages. Your role will involve guiding families to address challenging behaviors, enhance parenting skills, and ensure positive family dynamics. You will engage with children directly to ensure their voices are heard in the family plan and coordinate with professionals to execute effective family plans. The role requires managing relationships with families and the Family Help Service and Multi-Agency Child Protection Teams to provide timely support. Special focus may be directed towards families meeting criteria for targeted help, including those with children with disabilities and other specific needs.
