Who You Are
You are a dedicated early years educator passionate about providing high-quality integrated day care and education for children from birth to 7 years. You work well within a multi-disciplinary team and are committed to promoting an environment that supports anti-discriminatory practices. Your attention to detail and commitment to children's development ensures you maintain high standards of record-keeping and provide a nurturing, secure, and stimulating environment for the children.
What the Job Involves
Your role involves contributing to the planning and delivery of a high-quality early years curriculum. You will conduct observations, record achievements, and maintain developmental records. You will manage children's behavior, support colleagues, and help facilitate smooth transitions from home to center and to school. Your responsibilities will also include providing physical care for children, ensuring safety during outings, and assisting with implementing movement programs. Additionally, you will be involved in first aid provision and may be required to accompany children to medical facilities when necessary. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts between 8am and 6pm.
