Who You Are

We are seeking experienced agency Children With Disabilities (CWD) Social Workers to join our team during the recruitment period. You are dedicated to advancing timely decision-making and effective intervention, while ensuring sustainable caseload management. Your dedication to safeguarding and supporting children and families is complemented by your ability to work collaboratively within a structured service model.

What the Job Involves

Your role will consist of working intimately with families for dedicated 7-week periods, focusing on completing thorough assessments and ensuring children and families receive appropriate support and interventions. You will safeguard and manage Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases effectively while being part of a service that transfers cases after the first hearing, allowing you to focus on core responsibilities without carrying court work. With significant support from our partnership and improvement teams, you can expect manageable caseloads and high levels of senior management oversight. The job provides free parking, tea and coffee, and comprehensive training from our workforce development team, with pay rates aligned with DfE at £39.
