Who You Are
You have experience working in homelessness services, particularly with vulnerable populations such as those with mental health issues, prison leavers, or individuals recently released from hospital. You are adept at preventing homelessness and are knowledgeable in relevant housing legislation.
What the job involves
The role involves assisting single customers who seek housing assistance by completing thorough homelessness assessments and supporting them into suitable housing pathways. You will manage a caseload, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, and communication with customers. You will also be responsible for making competent decisions regarding homelessness applications and providing high levels of customer service.
