Voids Surveyor (PO1)

Who You Are

We are looking for a motivated and driven Clerk of Works (Post-inspector) with experience in the rehabilitation of void properties within the Social Housing sector.

What the job involves

You will work with a team of surveyors and letting officers to assist in achieving the corporate void turnaround times. Key responsibilities include visiting void properties to pre and post inspect, specification write-ups using schedules of rates, ensuring empty homes are let to a high standard in minimum turnaround time, managing the works process for voids, working closely and effectively with contractors and other stakeholders, monitoring contractor performance both in terms of quality and value for money, and using relevant IT systems to ensure accurate reporting and data for performance management.
