With at least two years of direct experience working with children, young people, and their families, you possess strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You are capable of working collaboratively with a range of agencies and possess a solid understanding of early help processes, safeguarding, and child protection legislation.
What the Job Involves
The Senior Parent Support Advisor is responsible for providing holistic assessments of families and coordinating support through single or multi-agency packages. By working in partnership with families and relevant professionals, you will aim to enhance parenting skills, deliver evidence-based programs, complete initial assessments, and work as a Lead Professional. You will support families below specialist service thresholds and directly assist schools to embed early help processes. Duties also involve maintaining accurate records, attending case conferences, and participating in team meetings and training activities.
