The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in logistics operations, with a strong understanding of health and social care systems. You possess good legislative knowledge and are proficient in a range of IT skills. Your ability to effectively supervise, negotiate, and manage people, along with proven expertise in Warehouse Health & Safety Management, makes you a strong contender for this role. Experience with local authority or equivalent organizations and qualifications in Supply Chain Management would be advantageous.
What the Job Involves
The role entails supporting the Operation Managers in overseeing the daily efficient operations of the warehouse while ensuring conformity with legislative requirements. This includes maintaining safe and compliant warehouse and distribution networks, managing stock levels to ensure availability, conducting stock audits, and monitoring warehouse organization in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines. You will be responsible for overseeing the ordering and receiving of standard and bespoke equipment, conducting regular health and safety inspections, and managing records and updates in the TCES system. Maintaining a safe and structured environment, managing warehouse staff, and adhering to company policies regarding health and safety, information security, and safeguarding are also key responsibilities.
